Worcestershire Ladies played in the Walker Cup regional finals at Box Bowling Club on Sunday25th June.
It was a hot sunny day, and the green was very quick. Both rinks played well in the morning against Devon. One rink won well, and the other rink suffered a slight loss but overall, the points secured a win for Worcestershire. After a short break for lunch the final against Cornwall got under way. The rinks were playing even quicker. One rink was trickier to find than the other, in fact the rink that one Worcestershire four had lost on in the morning. Sadly, the Worcestershire team lost to Cornwall 40-48. Well done to all players on winning the semifinal despite losing the regional final, it was a tremendous effort all round.
