Just a quick thank you to all players today who travelled all the way to Newark and played on a challenging green to grind out a great away win v Notts. In the current format it is essential to win the opening game, which you all worked hard to achieve. I know some will say we can do better and that’s understandable at this stage of the season but priority number one is for the team to win and that’s what you did.Match result was:Won 3 rinks, lost 3 rinksScore: Worcs 121 – 111 NottsPoints: Worcs 16 – 6 Notts
Notts now play Warks away and then we play Warks on 1st July.
