WORCESTERSHIRE LADIES' SOUTH WEST LEAGUE v HEREFORDSHIRE

Worcestershire Ladies v Hereford Ladies played at St Dunstans 8th June 2022

Worcestershire ladies  recorded their second win in the South West league against Herefordshire by winning the match by 2 Shots, wins were recorded on 3 rinks  which gave  them   16   points from the match.

With only three rinks having one end each to play the game was all level. Sue Cullis rink finished first and picked up 2 shots giving  Worcestershire a two shot cushion, rink  two was  2 or 3 shots down on the end but with her last bowl Marg Crowe managed to get one shot, on rink 3 the last rink to finish  they were holding  1 shot but opposition pushed their bowl up for shot leaving it in a difficult position to retrieve shot so rink 3 dropped one shot,  meaning Worcestershire won the match by 2 shots. They next play Cornwall in the league on Wednesday 15th at Taunton Deane BC. Worcestershire ladies currently hold top position in the league table.
